  • Lounge-asaurus Rex at HUGE Improv Theater [two nights only!] Rex's brand of crafty crooning appears as part of "Shuffle Play: Your Favorite Musical Groups in Rotation" on January 14th and February 11th at 8:00pm.   • TNT - Summer Potluck at HUGE Improv Theater. Improv duo TNT (Taj Ruler & Tom Reed) play HUGE's stage for one night only. In years of working together at the Brave New Workshop, Taj & Tom have clocked more than 1,000 performances together and their comedic chemistry shows.   • LOG JAM! A Paul Bunyan Musical Spectacular (theater returns - outdoors!) Tom plays villain Gunders Helslarsen and Sam the lumberjack in this outdoor Open Eye Theater premiere of a subversive, hilarious riff on the legend of Paul Bunyan! Hosted on the Bakken Museum's beautiful green rooftop May 27th- June 20th.   • It's Nine O'Clock Somewhere: The Lounge-asaurus Rex MORNING SHOW! (at 11:59am)
    At HUGE Improv Theater (via Zoom). 
    Join Lounge-asaurus Rex LIVE via Zoom for a stiff cup of improvised music and laughs. Savor in silence or unmute and inspire epic songs and crisp hot banter that goes great with pancakes - or a sandwich. Good times and deliciously over-the-top improv will (re)start your day RIGHT - It’s 9 O’Clock Somewhere! Bed head encouraged.   • Interstate - A New Musical at Mixed Blood Theatre. Tom is in the cast of Mixed Blood's world premiere production of Interstate, "a Queer Asian-American pop-rock musical about two trans people at different stages of their journeys, navigating love, family, masculinity, and finding community in the era of social media." Runs March 6th - March 29th. Tickets and details HERE.
  • Getting Plowed: A Holiday Survival Guide at Brave New Workshop. Brave New Workshop's annual holiday sketch comedy revue - live through the holidays with laughter. Irreverent, fun, funny - like egg nog served in a boot. Santa's boot. Bonus improv sets after most performances. Runs through January 25th, 2020. Tickets and details HERE. 
  • Young Frankenstein at Merrill Arts Center (Director) Tom directed the stage musical version of Mel Brooks' iconic comedy classic Young Frankenstein at Merrill Arts Center. A quirky masterpiece with iconic characters and so many quotable moments, now with epic musical numbers! Runs Feb 7-9, 14-16. Tickets and details HERE. 
  • Creature Feature at HUGE Theater (improv) A full length improvised monster movie created in real time based on audience suggestions. Shows every Friday in September and October. Tickets and details HERE.
  • Game of Toms: One-man Game of Thrones at Minnesota Fringe. Tom returns to MN Fringe to irreverently resurrect all eight seasons of death, sex and dragons in this EPIC solo musical parody of Game of Thrones. Packed with sensual satire, violent laughs and abrupt endings.  Only FIVE performances Aug 1st - 11th. Tickets and details HERE.
  • Autonomy at Mixed Blood Theater. Tom played Karl in this epic event show which was part auto show, part Disney ride, part drive in theater. 
  • Love and Other Social Diseases Brave New Workshop's 300th sketch comedy revue! Love, relationships and other mistakes we all make are tackled with BNW's signature biting and energetic wit. Bonus improv set after every 7:30 and 8:00pm performance. Previews start February 14th. Tickets HERE.
  • "Gloria" and "Hooded: or Being Black for Dummies" Tom was in two plays running in rep at Mixed Blood Theater. Gloria and Hooded: or Being Black for Dummies open November 17th and run through December 2nd. More info and tickets. 
  • Greenway at the Twin Cities Horror Festival. A new horror show written and directed by Tom for the 2018 Twin Cities Horror Festival.   • Ferris Mueller's Day Off Sketch comedy at the Brave New Workshop with a bonus improv set after every performance. Shows every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through October 27th. Tickets.
  • Gunplay!: A new comedy A new show by Tom for the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Set in the absurd alternate reality of America in 2018, this satire follows an attempt to stage a gun lobby group's "hip, fun!" musical active shooter drill with high school students.
